Supervised exercise, diet, and stress management prescriptions to promote cardiovascular health and healing.

This program is designed for persons who have recently suffered a heart attack, undergone heart surgery, or have some form of heart disease ranging from cardiomyopathies to arteriosclerosis and want help in stabilizing and/or possibly reversing the effects of cardiovascular disease and reducing the chance of a future cardiac incident. It is best started within the first six weeks following hospitalization

Participants will be supported in their efforts to better understand and manage their experiences by understanding the kind and level of activity they can safely handle, how to reduce stress and anxiety, and how to best integrate such practices into their everyday lives.

Periodic adjustments will be made to individual customized diet and exercise prescriptions, as markers such as heart rate, fatigue level and blood pressure are monitored.
